Remote Video Monitoring Console
Enable Professional Video Monitoring & Proactive Crime Prevention with RVM Console
Stop unwanted behavior before it escalates into crime or property loss
How it works
Video-triggered central station events
With the Remote Video Monitoring Console, monitoring station operators are alerted as soon as a person or vehicle is detected by cameras at a home or business. This ensures they can take action before there has been a crime.
Intuitive monitoring station console
From the integrated portal, operators can use saved clips, Live View, event preview snapshots, and contextual property indicators (unexpected sensor activity around the time of the alert) to evaluate the situation quickly and thoroughly. They can also access camera Live View feeds to identify suspected trespassers. All of this is accomplished without any additional gateways or third party software.
Operator Talkdown for proactive deterrence
Operators can engage people on-site with Two-Way Talkdown and manually trigger camera warning sounds. With the Alarm.com Floodlight Camera (now in Early Access) they can trigger an enhanced response with flashing floods, red and blue warning lights, and a powerful siren.
Property Actions
Because the Remote Video Monitoring Console is built into the Alarm.com unified platform, customers can give operators access to a wide range of devices on their property. Operators can turn on lights to assess and deter intruders, and can even open garages or unlock doors to let in first responders.
Privacy Settings
Customers have complete control over which cameras and devices are accessible from the Remote Video Monitoring Console. Operators can only view approved devices and any actions taken by operators are logged in the customer’s activity feed.
Wide-camera compatibility
The Remote Video Monitoring Console is compatible with Alarm.com’s entire lineup of Video Analytics-powered cameras, including Wi-Fi cameras and doorbells, as well as our lineup of Pro Series PoE cameras. Two-Way Talkdown and manually triggered warning sounds are available for select cameras.
