General Info
What is the PowerUp Conference?
At PowerUp, you’ll take part in a comprehensive learning journey designed to give you every tool you need to make an impact in your role. Through it all, you’ll gain knowledge, learn new skills, and put it all into practice by solving challenging scenarios with fellow learners. Customize your schedule to best fit your needs. Each day will feature opportunities to listen, learn, and DO during our interactive group sessions.
Why should I attend?
At PowerUp you will:
- Participate in games, scenarios, live demos, and other fun/interactive ways to maximize your learning retention
- Build a custom schedule based on your role and specific interests
- Unwind at the Partner Reception located at Ole Red
- Work 1-on-1 with Alarm.com team members to deepen your knowledge of Alarm.com products and services
Who is the target audience and who should attend?
The PowerUp Conference is available exclusively for current employees of an authorized Alarm.com dealer. If your company is looking to drive more business and enhance the customer experience, these are the roles that would benefit the most from attending:
- Technician: Designed for installers, service technicians, or anyone looking to deepen their understanding of MobileTech, Alarm.com hardware, and best practices for installation and troubleshooting.
- Operations/Management: Designed for operations and management professionals, Partner Portal administrators, trainers, or anyone focused on building strong teams, increasing efficiency, and making data-driven decisions.
- Sales: Designed for those who prospect, consult, and nurture new customer relationships.
- Support: Designed for customer care managers, representatives, or anyone responsible for providing remote support to system users.
What is the Pre-Conference?

How much does it cost to attend the Pre-conference?
The Pre-Conference is included in the Premium package which costs an additional $150.
Where is the event taking place?
The 2026 PowerUp Conference will take place at the Sheraton Music City Hotel in Nashville. Visit the Travel Page to learn more about the conference location.
Are you offering discounted hotel rooms?
Yes! Single and double rooms are available to PowerUp attendees at a special discounted rate of $169 per night for a standard room. Please complete registration to access the hotel booking link or visit the Travel Page.
How do I reserve my hotel room?
You can reserve your hotel room at the end of your event registration or visit the Travel Page.
What do I need to wear?
Dress comfortably for day-to-day learning! Business casual attire is recommended for evening events. November in Nashville can be cool and variable, so we suggest bringing layers and a light jacket or coat for outdoor activities and travel between venues.
What do I need to bring?
To maximize your learning experience, please come prepared with a tablet or smart phone.

How do I cancel my registration? Do you offer refunds?
You may cancel your registration by clicking on the cancellation link in your confirmation email, or by clicking the Register Now button on our website and selecting “Already Registered” to access your agenda. You may also request a cancellation by emailing Academy@alarm.com.
Refunds are issued according to the following schedule:
- On or before September 18th: Full refund
- September 19 – October 16th: 50% refund
- After October 16th: No refunds will be issued
Refunds apply to the conference registration fee only and do not include hotel charges. Please contact the Sheraton Music City Hotel directly for information regarding hotel sleeping room cancellations.
I can no longer attend but would like to substitute my registration. Can I send someone else from my company?
Yes. You can substitute your registration by emailing Academy@alarm.com. The last day to make changes to your registration is October 16th. Substitutions made after this date will incur a substitution fee of $50. The last day to make a substitution is November 6th.
Can I register onsite?
Unfortunately, we do not allow onsite registration as each session has a capacity and we need to know in advance how many will be in attendance. The deadline to register is October 16th.
How does session registration work?
During registration, you will have the option to customize your registration. All sessions are included in the registration cost. We will provide a list of recommended sessions based on role, but you are free to register for any session you’d like to attend.
I changed my mind and want to register for different sessions. How do I edit my agenda?
You can modify your registration either by clicking on the modify link in your confirmation email or by clicking the Register Now button on our website and selecting “Already Registered” to access your agenda.
Pricing
How much does it cost to attend?
Early Bird Registration (June 1 – June 30): $475
General Registration (July 1 – October 16): $675
*Pricing above does not include pre-conference registration.

What is included in the registration fee?
Registration for the general conference includes admission to the conference and all sessions, meals (breakfast, lunch, and snacks), admission to our Tuesday Welcome Happy Hour and Wednesday Partner Reception, as well as exclusive PowerUp merchandise.
Do I have to pay for each session?
Sessions are included in the registration fee.
What are the payment options?
Full payment is due at the time of registration. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and AmericanExpress. We do not accept Discover or other forms of payment (invoicing, check, cash, etc.)
Are there discounts available?
Volume discounts are available:
- 10% off per registration fee for groups of 3-5 from a given company
- 20% off per registration fee for groups of 6-10 from a given company
- 30% off per registration fee for groups of 11+ from a given company
Please note that all registrants from a given company must register at the same time for the group discount to apply. We will not retroactively honor group discounts.
Program
What is Flex Time?
Flex time is your time! Take a break in our Energize space, meet with an Alarm.com expert, or cash in your PowerUp points for prizes.
Are you offering CEUs for any of these sessions?
Yes, we will offer CEUs for courses on a state-by-state basis. Click here to learn more about CEUs. If you have additional questions, email Academy@alarm.com!
Are you offering AMUs for any of theses sessions?
Yes, we will offer 8 AMUs per day. Click here to learn more about AMUs. If you have additional questions, email Academy@alarm.com.
Will I receive a certificate for attending this conference?
Each PowerUp attendee will receive a certificate of completion for the full conference at the completion of the conference week.
Will these sessions be recorded?
They will not. Video or audio recording of any Alarm.com Academy event or other training course is strictly prohibited.
